Iced Tea

  • water
  • 8 teabags or 8 tsp loose black tea
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Steep the tea in 1 quart (4 cups) boiling water for 5 minutes.

Strain the tea. Add enough boiling water to get back to 1 quart. Add the sugar to the hot tea and stir until dissolved.
