Quark

  • 1 quart milk (I used whole, you can use whatever you like)
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Bring the milk to a simmer, and then take off the heat. When it has cooled to room temperature, stir in the buttermilk. Let it sit at room temperature in a clean covered container until it has thickened to the consistency of yogurt, about 1 day.

Eggs Ranchero

  • 2 tbsp salad oil
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 chopped onion
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • corn tortillas
  • eggs
